Where the Heck Have You Been?

This one’s mainly for my friends and family, who may have noticed I’ve been a bit absent lately. I’m not really much of a social media user, so I haven’t been broadcasting my progress on this project. But we’re finally getting there.

“Who’s this we, anyway?” I imagine some of you might be asking. “You and your dust bunnies?”

Don’t talk about Freddie and Leona with that tone in your voice, please. I’m okay with it, but it hurts their feelings. Dust bunnies tend to sulk as it is. Think about it - you’re always having to chase them out of their hiding places, and I just don’t need to deal with that today.

I say “we” and not “me” because I’ve had such a lot of help from so many people, and I’d like to include them. I’ve had help buying and building equipment, proofreading instructions, testing the products, and also a lot of invaluable moral support. So really, Charmed Quilts is absolutely a group effort.

Anyway, if you’ve been a helper, thanks very much! I appreciate you! And if you’re waiting for stuff you can buy, it’s coming very shortly. I’ve just finished working out how to package the kits, and I ordered the shipping materials yesterday. And also stickers, which may not have been strictly necessary, but everyone seems to use them and love them. All this means for sure that at least some actual kits will actually be available for actual purchase in October (yay!)

Yep. I’m excited for sure!

Freddie and Leona seem a bit restive though. Maybe I've been sweeping too much. It upsets them. I should sweep less and quilt more.

Don't sweep too much, now. Take a nice, deep breath. Hold it. Let it out... aaah, that's nice.
